Art Room Essentials

Better Than Paper Bulletin Board Paper

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Better Than Paper is a writable, fade resistant bulletin board paper. I found this last year and the paper is still up on my bulletin boards. I was able to consistently update my bulletin boards without a lot of hassle and they come in a lot of great colors. Click here to see some of my bulletin board examples.

Watercolor Set 48 Colors

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love these watercolor palettes. They come with a variety of colors and can easily be cleaned even if the colors get mixed. They are super reasonable. I can get a class pack that fits my budget. My only drawback as that it can get moldy if not properly tried. However, that’s more of a management issue than a product one. Here are some lessons where I used this product.

Building Blocks (just as good as Legos)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Building Blocks are my favorite go to center for the art room. It allows for creativity, motor skill development, and connects students who may not consider themselves as “artists” to the art room. I do not buy the name brand because, unfortunately, they get lost very easily and needs to be replaced every year. These building block are reasonable and are close enough to legos that it justifies the purchase.
